03 / HOW THE IMAGES TAKE SHAPE
From a colour palette
to a Halloween world.
We started with the contrast that defines Halloween: deep black and glowing pumpkin orange. From there, we shaped a world where candlelit warmth meets eerie characters and playful horror. Shared colours, dramatic lighting and expressive details connect the cards, balancing the festive spirit of Halloween with its darker mood.

Gloss linen. Glowing edges.
The finished tarot uses gloss linen cardstock and pumpkin-orange gilded edges. At 70 × 120 mm, the cards give the illustrations room to breathe. The gloss finish catches the light as you turn the deck in your hands.
A home for the whole haunting.
A rigid collector box with orange foil carries the same black-and-orange world as the cards. The tarot deck and its printed guide belong together inside, ready for the next reading.

Can I use this as a regular tarot deck?
Yes. The familiar 78-card Rider-Waite structure sits beneath the Halloween imagery. The printed guide helps you explore the scenes and meanings. You can read with the three extra cards or remove them for a traditional 78-card deck.
What are the three extra cards?
The Haunted House explores memory and unfinished stories; The Pumpkin Lord brings joy and creative fire; The Mask considers protection and the hidden self. They are unnumbered Major Arcana, and all three are explained in the printed guide.
Is the printed guide included?
Yes. All three sets include the 81-card tarot deck, foiled collector box and printed guide. The guide covers upright and reversed meanings and offers reading tips.
What changes between the three sets?
The first set includes tarot and its printed guide. The second adds the separate 36-card Halloween Lenormand. The full set includes both of those plus Halloween playing cards. Lenormand and playing cards are separate decks, not extra cards for the tarot.
Is the finish matte or glossy?
The current printed Halloween Tarot has a gloss linen finish with pumpkin-orange gilded edges. The original Kickstarter described a planned soft-matte finish; we changed this to gloss linen during production.
How do shipping and returns work?
Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. Delivery timing depends on the destination; arrival before Halloween is not guaranteed here. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for new, unused and unopened items in their original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
